Learning Circles are a series of FREE weekend enrichment activities for 5th grade girls. The highly interactive sessions introduce like-minded girls to each other through programs designed and supervised by professionals in their STEAM field and amazing educators. We have seen the girls develop friendships as they become part of the GLOW Sisterhood while being introduced to the mission and vision of GLOW:
To help young women reach their potential and become outstanding citizens and leaders in their communities.
These quarterly events reinforce a STEAM academic curriculum, while focusing on GLOW’s core values of college success, healthy lifestyles and leadership. Our programs offer opportunities to enjoy hands-on learning while exploring STEAM driven curriculum: science, technology, engineering, the arts, and math.
Participating in Learning Circles is a great way to open the doors to a GLOW education where:

Saturday, September 23, 2017 Old School Selfies @ GLOW Academy, 606 S College Road, Behind St Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church
9:30 AM – 12:00 PM
9:30 AM – 10:00 AM – Breakfast/Registration – GLOW Informational session for parents & guardians to learn more about GLOW
10:00 AM – 11:30 AM – Girls are divided into small groups to work together with a Teaching Artists to create amazing art.

Saturday, November 4, 2017 – “Leave No Trace” presented by The National Center for Outdoor & Adventure Education (NCOAE)
