As we celebrate our 10th birthday this year, GLOW Academy stands rooted & rising—grounded in a decade of purpose-driven education and rising to meet the future with even greater vision and impact. With a strong foundation in learning, leadership, and meaningful relationships, GLOW equips girls with the confidence and skills they need to take on what’s next—college, career, and life.

At GLOW Academy, we believe every girl deserves a future full of opportunity and choice. As North Carolina’s only single-gender public charter school, we are uniquely focused on educating and empowering young women in grades 6–12 through a rigorous college-preparatory curriculum, strong mentorship, and a safe, supportive environment.

During their time at GLOW, our students grow as leaders, thinkers, and changemakers. With smaller class sizes, personalized support, and strong community partnerships, we ensure every student has the tools and guidance to thrive both in and out of the classroom.

From the moment a student steps onto our campus, she is seen, heard, and valued—not just for who she is, but for who she’s becoming. Our all-girls environment creates a space where young women can find their voices, and lead with confidence—free from distraction and comparison.

What sets GLOW apart is our whole-student approach. We go beyond academics to nurture social-emotional growth, resilience, and a sense of purpose. Every student is paired with a dedicated Leadership Advisory, creating strong mentor relationships and consistent support throughout her journey.

We don’t just prepare girls for college—we help them discover the path that’s right for them. With hands-on learning, exposure to real-world experiences, career exploration, and leadership development embedded into every grade level, students graduate from GLOW with a clear vision of what’s possible—and the tools to achieve it.
